Music for Change, Inc. is committed to music education in today’s schools as a vehicle for human expression, cultural understanding, and academic achievement. Three specifically aligned programs offer live performance, lecture, interactive participation and facilitate learning opportunities for youth while keeping the history of American music alive. Through standards-based instruction and academic enrichment, Music for Change programs support and strengthen existing school curricula.

Objective: The objective of the programs offered through Music for Change, Inc. is to enrich academic instruction in low-performing schools through music curricula, keep music curricula alive in schools, and inspire young people to engage in learning through music.
